Visas
- As any international inbound travelers can pass by and stay in Hong Kong for seven days, and our conference is for at most five days. It is enough for any conference participant.

Things to Note for First-Time Visitors to Hong Kong
- Smoking Regulations
Smoking in non-smoking areas (e.g., public transport, indoor spaces, including e-cigarettes) can result in a fine of up to HKD 5,000.
Visitors can bring a maximum of 19 cigarettes into Hong Kong.
- Always Carry ID
Police may conduct random ID checks. Visitors must carry a passport or valid travel document. Failing to do so may result in a HKD 1,500 fine.
- MTR Rules
No eating or drinking on MTR trains or in stations.
Some MTR lines have first-class carriages (marked in yellow). Entering without a proper ticket may result in a HKD 500 fine.
- Public Behavior
Jaywalking: Fined HKD 1,500 for crossing on a red light.
Littering, spitting, or using offensive language in public can result in fines of HKD 1,500.
Do not feed wild animals; it is illegal.
